The Research
In human skin, multiple enzymes work together to repair daily DNA damage. DNA repair occurs in three main steps, the first identifying and removing the damaged section of DNA, the second synthesises replacement DNA, and then finally the DNA strand is sealed. This process is extremely fast and is happening constantly throughout the body, including our skin, which suffers DNA damage caused by the sun and pollution.

For individuals with sensitive skin, we recommend starting with #6 The GelCrème as a mild introduction to active ingredients that promote cellular turnover. After 4-6 weeks, gradually introduce #6 The Rejuvenating Night Crème, using it 1-2 times per week initially. Adjust the frequency based on your skin's appearance and comfort level. For individuals with resilient skin and accustomed to using #6 The Rejuvenating Night Crème, nightly application is recommended. Speak with your RATIONALE Skin Consultant or Medical Agent to understand how to introduce #6 The Rejuvenating Night Crème into your Ritual.
Without SPF, topical Vitamin A can induce photosensitivity. This can exacerbate redness and irritation. To avoid photosensitivity, apply #6 The Rejuvenating Night Crème only at night and follow with your designated SPF protection in the morning.
We recommend applying #6 The Rejuvenating Night Crème up to the orbital bone only and reserving #4 The Nourishing Eye Crème for the eye area.
#6 The Rejuvenating Night Crème can assist with signs of menopausal skin including, redness, dryness, and uneven skin tone.
Both oral and topical prescription strength vitamin A medication should be avoided during pregnancy. Whilst there is no research or data to suggest that applying over-the-counter Retinol (non-prescription) can be harmful to the foetus, we recommended speaking to your doctor before beginning or continuing the use of any vitamin A Formulations during pregnancy.
