What is the difference between a serum and a crème?

It’s all in the delivery system. Serums typically target the deeper layers of the skin, whereas crèmes are typically designed to treat the superficial layers of the skin.

What is the best order to apply serums?

#1 The Strengthening Serum should be applied on clean, dry skin, as the first step in your morning ritual.

#2 The Serum should be applied after #1 The Strengthening Serum and before your daytime hydrator and SPF.

#3 The Brilliance Tinted Serum SPF 50+should be applied as the final step in your morning ritual before Beautiful Skin Superfluid.

#5 The Refining Serum should be applied in the evening, after cleansing and before formulations from #6 The Renewal Collection.

What is the difference between oil-based and water-based serums?

Whilst oil-based serums contain oil-soluble active ingredients, water-based serums contain water-soluble active ingredients.

Those experiencing signs of dryness will benefit from replenishing their skin with oil-based formulations. On the other hand, those experiencing normal or combination skin are best suited to water-based formulations.
